The describes the electricity and oil sector of Ecuador with a consideration of the structure economy and policies. The analysis establishes the necessary of the electricity generation from sources defferent than the current conventional ones conventional ones in oder to cover the Ecuadorian electricity needs. With high heavy oil reserves in Ecuador, and the lack of a market, this project examines the feasibility, from different points of view, for using this resource in electricity generation. | ||
