This book aims to provide an overview of the main activities involved in financing the internatinal petroleum industry. It begins with an introduction to the nature and structure of the industry and a brief history of its financing. This leads to a more detailed discussion of the contrast between the approach adopted by the small independent companies and the large international companies towards financing their activities.
