<br/><br/>The amount of firewood produced by the annual prunning of coffe bushes was definend in a total 57 sample plots in the commercial coffee plantations of CATIE, Turrialba, Costa Rica. The yield ranged from 121 to 1644 kg/ha for plantations with less than 3800 coffee plantations with a density of more than 3800 coffee bushes/ha. The overall average was 1111 kg of overdry firewood per hectare...
