<br/><br/>The author submits for approval the following memorandum and recommendation on a proposed GET grant to India for SDR 18.5 million to help finance a project for the development of alternate energy sources, namely, wind energy and solar PV, together with the institutional and financial strengthening of IREDA. The project is part of the renewable resources development project to be financed by IDA and IBRD. The GET will be supplemented by SwF6 million, or 4 million equivalent, from the swiss development cooperation.
