<br/><br/>The author submits for approval the following memorandum and recommendation on a proposed global environment trust grant to the Kindgdom of Thailand for SDR 6.9 million, the equivalent of 9.5 million, to help finance a project to promote electricity energy efficiency in Thailand. The project is part of the distribution system and energy efficiency project to be financed by IBRD. The GET grant will be supplemented by a grant of Australian dollars 8.5 million, from the Australian government on a joint financing basis and a concessional loan of 25 million to be negotiated with the OECF of Japan on a parallel financing basis.
