This study covers all aspects and resources of the energy situation for the period 1960 - 2000. It attempst to arrive at Arab energy supply and demand projections for the years 1985, 1990 and 2000 in the form of energy balances. The energy balance is a consistent framework presetning domestic supplies, imports and exports, energy transformation and finally energy consumption with regard to the type of fuel - soil fuel, crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, electricity, and new and renewable energy sources. This paper endeavours to give a brief review of this study and the most important conclusions draw from it.
