The cause of tracers is critical in geothermal injection systems. The hydrodynamic break-through of reinjected brine can be monitored in a very precise way using tracers. No other method is known which allows produced brine monitoring with the same precision. Thus, precalculated and monitoered break-through profiles can be estimated in a very precise way.
