The intended purpose of the fourth meting of the Advisory Panel was to review the results from the first, out of the two, reconnaissance slim holes, that the panel previously recommended be drilled in the area of El Valle de Antón. Because IRHE was not able to drill these reconnaissance holes, the slim hole drilling strategy was ance again reviewed by the Panel in light of the additional geovolcanology, geochemistry and geophysical data that became available.
