The third world nations are not homogeneous and can be divided into diferent groups. The basic of the political economics in the third world nations are agrarian states, another group of countries has large mineral deposits at its disposal (e.g OPEC nations, Mexico), and again another group of third world nations is represented by those countries which seek to bring about industrialization over a short time (e.g Brazil, South Korea). Only a smaller group of third world nations has suffient mineral deposits at its disposal, such as crude oil, natural gas, coal, etc. these countries are very interestd in selling their mining products to the industrialized nations...
