Relevant information for the SWH NAMA. Estimation of the impacts of the SWH NAMA. Identification and analysis of barriers. Analysis of the financial and technical support required and estimation of the financial and technological resource needed. Elaboration of an MRV framework design for the SWH NAMA. Next steps for the SWH NAMA. Conclusions.

The SWH NAMA Concept in Belize aims to implement the solar water heating technology for the industrial, commercial and residential sectors, with the objective of reducing the emission of greenhouse gases from the use of fossil fuels for water heating through the installation and use of solar collectors and storage tanks. It includes an estimation of the GHG emission reductions expected for the implementation of the project, considering several scenarios according to the current situation and using appropriate methodologies to assess these estimations; and an analysis of the financial and technical support required and estimation of the financial and technological resources needed for the proper development of the SWH NAMA.
