Allocation of local energy resources using a linear programming model. En : Primer seminario internacional de energías renovables - Santa Cruz Proper 1994 - pp. 93-103

A linear programming model was developed for the allocation of local energy resources which include renevable energy resources to different consuming sectors according to the minimum cost of energy production, conversion, transpostation and shortages, where the energy shortage is assumed to be covered from imported oil. The model was used for the allocation of local energy resources in Jordan based on existing supply, demand and costs. Sensitivity analysis was conducted to study the different allocation decision and to assess the impact of higher production rate, introduction of newer resources and technologies, changes in local energy costs, higher shortage, and reduction of energy shortages.
