Gas flaring at exploration and production facilities - [Calgary]: ARPEL, 1993 - 111 p.

02972

Hydrocarbons are handled and processed continuously in production facilities and are normally separated into liquids and vapours. The document reviews the applicable proposed ambient air standards, and then discusses the proposed emission from production facilities from two aspects : minimization of gaseous hydrocarbon emission from the process equipment and the gathering of such emissions utilizing vapour recovery technology and destruction of these emissions in a flare on both a continuous and intermittent basis.
